Pros

So many of the employees are so kind and willing to help. People work together well and truly feel like friends in and out of the workplace

Cons

The pay is awful. Some salaries are practically what you could make at minimum wage in some jobs. The workload is also absolutely ridiculous and isn’t sustainable. If you want any way to disconnect from work, I’d highly suggest passing on this job, and going elsewhere for digital marketing.

Pros

-Great company culture - I worked with amazing, smart people who truly care about you. -Opportunities to learn very quickly and work with large clients -For an agency, there is a great work/life balance. I managed large clients and I rarely ever had to work after hours -Flexible schedule and lots of PTO -Recommend if you are new to the DM field or work at an agency where you are overworked

Cons

-Since Brainlabs acquired Hanapin & Distilled, there have been a TON of senior departures, myself included. The reason is because BL doesn't pay market value and there isn't much reward for hard work and client growth. Even though the agency has been very successful, the profits are not shared with the services team and many folks had their promotions delayed because of bogus reasons. -Once you make it to senior level, there are very few promotion opportunities and the pay bumps are very small in proportion to the spend under you mangement -Global leadership is a smart bunch, but they have largely ignored the number of senior people that have left over the last year and focused on exec level hires vs. hiring more experienced account managers.

Since you provided this review, we've hired more than 150 Brainlabbers at all levels (entry, mid-level, and experienced) to support our continued growth. We have also established a monthly process where we review promotions for all levels, including senior roles.
