Pros

Company will be sold again after fiber build is the only good thing to look forward too.

Cons

Outdated equipment, old work trucks, does not give us the bucket trucks we need, same managers from the former company going back to doing the everything the way the last company did. Not able to make needed customer repairs because the plan is to go to fiber.

As a new company, we continue to work on updating some of the aging systems and equipment that we inherited. It is definitely a work in progress!

Pros

Most coworkers are very hard workers and really care about our customers.

Cons

Either you’re in or out basic on who you are related too or friends with. If you’re not on the in crowd it will not matter how hard you work. Management will not care or recognize you. Long hours because everything is unorganized. High turnover and constant reorganization resulting in problems not being solved. Everyone trying to make process easier for them adding work to other departments. Last, you have to get use to telling customers we are working on it when you know how to fix the issue but are not allowed because of cost.

Pros

Nothing good to say about Brightspeed

Cons

No longer remote even though my position was promoted as remote when I was hired. My jobs changes often because of the high turnover and manager has no experience. No work life balance even though it was promoted when I was hired.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. All of our positions in the greater Charlotte area have been designated as hybrid, which was communicated during the recruiting and onboarding process.
