Pros

They have plenty of hours for you to work. You'll get to drive all over Georgia (or your respective state). Your co-workers are fun and you will meet some interesting people.

Cons

I have been working here for over 6 months, and have worked almost every weekend. I drive about 80% of the time, and constantly getting tired out of it. They do not provide you with enough company clothing, and have the audacity to tell me I can buy more from the company website. The prices are outrageous. By your 2 or 3rd delivery you will show up to a customers house with dirt marks and black smudges all over. I have been on deliveries to some sketchy places. Not to mention, that you are going to some random person’s house all by yourself. Starting at the bottom, you are not going to move up anytime soon. Our managers are too afraid to correct people, and just want to be best buddies with you. Meanwhile people are crashing vehicles, and breaking stuff.

Still Forcing Attrition

Pros

Benefits are still pretty solid

Cons

Lots of deceit coming from the executive team. We have record breaking profits, but we can’t afford housekeeping services? The AC goes out, and we suffer for days in the Arizona heat? They’ve proven remote work to be more productive and they’re saving plenty of money with those remote workers, but they are mandating everyone return to office because they don’t care if we’re more productive, it’s all about that hustle culture! All of the well-paid executives are aware of the economic state of the world, but they need to offload us so they can replace us with inexpensive contractors to line their pockets with bonuses to save themselves while we worry how we’re going to secure affordable childcare. Direct leadership does genuinely care about their employees, but any further than that, they’ve all become incredibly cold hearted. Seemingly propelled only by greed and fear. I can see why Carmax has been a very steady, long term success in comparison.

Pros

The company is growing pretty rapidly, tripled in size in just two years, so it allows a lot of space to move around or try new things. The benefits are great, arcade games, social hours, free healthcare if you’re single with no kids, all the free food you can practically eat (people actually gain weight after working there). Overall very young employee population and everyone is pretty close.

Cons

A number of managers are managers simply based on tenure which isn’t always great, if they don’t promote you they try to discover some obscene reason as to why they didn’t, rapidly growing results in changes literally daily (you’ll get official emails 2-3 times a day notifying you of these changes) and the grow also means they’re drastically short staffed with 30 callers sitting in queue a consistent feature (despite them winding down on hiring).
