Pros

Not worth it. The positive aspects are only there as a distraction for how bad this place really is to work for.

Cons

There are so many negative aspects to this position...the work life balance here is very lopsided. Prepare to get off work at 9PM and return to work at 6AM. You will never see your family. Prepare to be a jack of all trades because you will be cleaning up the mess that others have made. You will literally clean cars in below freezing temperatures, no you can't feel your hands. Prepare to deliver cars over 100 miles away in a hauler that is past due to be serviced. These haulers shake so violently that your back will never be the same. This place is so bad I can't make it up. Prepare to get a flithy car and scramble to clean it, fix the flat, and prep paperwork while having to travel over an hour away and ultimately be late and get blamed for the car not looking like it did on the website. Congratulations it's all your fault and yes you only work here. Prepare to work for a manager that's basically the thought police. You have a right to a differing opinion right? Prepare to work here a year and get a 60 cent raise or no raise at all. That doesn't cover inflation. Prepare to never know what your day is going to like. You are constantly putting out fires other people made.

Pros

Great Benefits, free snacks and coffee, they try to make the work environment fun with outside work activities, free fit bit

Cons

Where do I start...Its truly a glorified call center and nowhere during our interviews did they tell anyone that we would need to sell stuff over the phone...pushing Carvana care, or mentioning inspections, how tires should look etc. Also didn't mention we would be taking tests, and having to rush through lessons so we could memorize more and more to take the tests. Training is 8 hours in a room listening to 2 different people talk all day. I filled 2 notebooks with notes my first 4 weeks. Hot Seat after 3 weeks was way too intense. Had I known I'd be on phones selling cars after 2 weeks I would have never quit my other job in the first place!! Management needs to be honest during interviews and tell potential employees what their job REALLY is. My days are exhausting here. Get here when the sun is coming up, leave when it's going down. Not to mention there is zero parking. They tell you that there's tons of room for promotion and give you examples of people there who have moved up, but as long as I have been here no one has moved up. They have nice drinks and snacks but I swear it's to keep you at your desk and stay there longer. There's SO many promises at Carvana but it just comes off so scheme like. There's so much disorganization and everyone is constantly flirting. Everything is extremely fast paced and repetitive. They're trying to make Carvana something it's not- organized, genuine, and enjoyable.
