      Pros

      CLEAResult is a great resume starter. If you show genuine interest in the energy field, they will most likely give you a shot. There is great opportunity here to receive cooperate experience while maintaining a hands on approach and feeling good about the work you are doing, saving energy!

      Cons

      This kind of atmosphere can keep you very busy, though you mostly have control over your schedule. CLEAResult is also experiencing a company wide restructuring period, which can put excessive amounts of responsibility and stress on the already lean pool of employees, in other words... there is no ground for complacency.

      Pros

      What they are trying to do to help reduce the use of energy is commendable. And there is some success there. There are pockets of really smart people to work with.

      Cons

      Those pockets of smart people aren't working together to move the company forward...or they have already left or have been let go (at least two quiet layoffs in 2015....more in 2016 for sure). This company has struggled to combine all the acquired companies and leverage the collective expertise. Instead it runs a patchwork of programs that are a drain on resources and people. And a failure to move beyond the energy efficiency space into demand response, EV, solar etc has left it in a position to only lose its dominant market share, talented people and lots of money. Until things get better, find someplace else to work.
