Pros

Steady job but the low pay isnt worth the stress. The office is nice and there are some good people here.

Cons

Low pay- less than fast food workers Micromanaged to the extreme- Managers and supervisors assert their authority regularly but do not hold themselves to the same standards.

Pros

Most people utilize this site for negative reviews but in all honesty there is nothing to complain about when working for this company! I have been with this company for close to 5 years now and constantly feel valued every day I walk in the doors. I first would like to mention the upper management team, they will encourage you to be the best employee ever and that's not just from your shift managers but the site managers and the VP's. They have all set me up for greatness and will do the same for each employee that works for the company. Another thing this company does that others fail to do is give back to their employees. COPS is constantly giving back. Each year they will throw an extravagant holiday party to simply say thank you to their employees and one guest. Once you become a level 6 dispatcher they will sent you on a club 6 trip for you an a guest to hang out with other level 6 dispatchers and go do a fun activity and a nice lunch/dinner. I could go on and on about this company because I truly believe in what this company stands for and what it does for the communities all over the United States. If you want to be apart of something huge and want to help others, you will be valued at this company.

Cons

Like I said previously, there is nothing to complain about. If you work hard you will be rewarded and be valued.

Pros

Recognition of a job well done. Opportunity for advancement. Overtime available often. Chance to genuinely help someone in an actual emergency situation. Structured training. Regular employee reviews to evaluate their performance which is the bases on which raises and advancement are decided, favoritism is not a factor. Company paid events 4 times a year (guest included) for an excellent employee review once you reach the highest level. If an employee is promoted to manager, company paid retreats with (guest included). Chairman’s award for excellence with a top prize of $2500 and several runner-up prizes given out once a year!!!

Cons

Strict rules and policies which can be difficult for some to follow. Break policy is too strict and should be revisited. It takes too long for upper management to add additional supervisors or managers when shifts numbers have grown, which causes managers and supervisors to be overworked and over stressed. Also employees do not have the supervision and one-on-one time with managers needed to be able to invest in their performance.
