Pros

AAA NCNU offers an excellent benefits package and a competitive salary. The company is very diverse and encourages employee volunteering within the community.

Cons

The company used to be a great place to work for. Within the last 3 years it has gone through a major transformation, not for the better. Working for IT in Walnut Creek has been the most demotivating experience I've had at AAA. Favoritism plays a big role in all of this. IT management is constantly reorganizing the team and giving opportunities not to those with qualifications, but to those whom they favor. IT used to work together to make progress, now they just work against each other. There is no specific direction, everyone is working to advance their own personal career goals.

Pros

ok benefits and pay, but thats even worth it after the headaches everyday

Cons

unless you simply want to collect a paycheck this isnt the place for you. They advice that if you work hard, then you will move up the ranks.. no true at all, they will use your ideas and make them there own, unless your apart of the inner circle. or a member of that inner circles family. there is no way to obtain the sales goal, they continue to hire new people without doing any type of marketing to drive in business.. there is a feeling of when i come in tomorrow will i still have a job. mangement is a joke, and as an agent we are nothing but a disposable number. where are those values that they claim they live by..

Pros

The building is nice. Cafeteria on site. Discount on auto and home insurance. Competitive salaries. Telecommuting weekly is encouraged.

Cons

CSAA's IT department is disorganized and poorly run. Most of the leadership team is inexperienced (a former head of training and admins runs development, a finance guy runs operations "because it's expensive"). They have high turnover and can't keep good talent.
