Pros

The new HQ is beautiful. The cafeteria is phenomenal. Amazing PTO setup. Decent healthcare. The people you will meet are some of the best you’ll encounter in your life time. CSC pulls amazing talent (Thanks to referrals from employees and the Recruiters), they just have a hard time holding onto that talent. This is a decent first job in the corporate world. Great place to get experience and learn what you want to do in life. My experience could have been saved by more experienced leadership. Therefore, the hope of the honesty within my review is to make this someone else’s forever job like I had hoped for myself!

Cons

Every department is run differently, therefore the negatives here do not apply to every aspect of the business. With that said, to create a more “One CSC” experience for all employees across the organization management should be required to attend training courses. I say this because some of the leaders within CSC make decisions that completely contradict the companies core values, despite “One CSC”. These choices include jokes about people hygiene, personal habits, or work ethic, and it includes letting great talent slip through the cracks because they do not follow CSC’s core values (despite the values being drilled into you from day one). To further explain, leadership has recommended acts that completely went against the companies core values. Examples are as follows: 1. Forging documents and hiding the forgery from customers to conceal mistakes brought on by faulty internal processes (Values: integrity, honesty, and service). 2. No help is given when it is requested (best example of teamwork). 3. Tenacity... Another value that CSC prides itself on. CSC wants you to innovate and assist them in continuing to exist. Although, depending on the leader you’re under, you will either shine or be shoved to the side because you’re deemed threatening to their career.

Pros

Literally did nothing that did with my job, sat and shadowed. Everyone there says the first month you don’t do anything either, you get trained on jobs that aren’t yours so you can fill in when they’re sick or on vacay even if you’re new.

Cons

There for three weeks, did not even train me on the position I was hired for, learned front desk and how to be the runner. First week manager dipped because they got sick so all I did was shadow, second week I filled in for a day for a job that wasn’t mine and I messed up. Manager previewed my notes on how to do the job and said it looked great so when I messed up and was asked what happened APPARENTLY I was missing a step that was NOT on my notes and that I wasn’t trained to do...this company is beyond outdated, they use like 12 systems to do one thing and literally everyone there is losing it, saying how they break down all the time and it’s normal or how they’ll off themselves when they get home...don’t waste your time

We are disappointed that this is your depiction of and feedback on CSC. Given your short tenure I think we can agree that we weren’t the best fit for each other. We wish you all the best on your career journey.
