Pros

Sarah London is wonderful and trying to dig out of the MN technology deficiency 1. Fully remote 2.Most health plan level staff really want the best for members 3. Decent PTO but you can't carry it over and it is not paid out when you leave 4. You are encouraged to participate in employee engagement groups and they are informative and fun. Great discussion and more cultural understanding 5. Good work life balance if you enforce your own boundaries

Cons

1. They took away bonuses for all lower level staff 2. They say they want honesty on employee engagement survey then take you into a meeting to interrogate you to find out who answered negatively 3. Ignore real suggestions for change and suggest virtual break rooms for better employee engagement 4. There are a million systems and duplicate documentation that wastes time and frustrates staff 5. They say they value DEI but some health plans try to exploit bilingual staff by asking them to interpret and translate for other depts with no extra pay

Abusive work culture

Pros

Benefits are paid half by them

Cons

Abusive work environment. Trainer called my computer 5 times while I was working. Then emailed my manager who scheduled a 1:1 and threatened to Write me up because I wanted to complete my work the trainer lied and said I was behind on, but finished 3 days earlier. The manager didn’t even fact check. They gave me a iPhone, chromebook and laptop then proceeded to try and smack me around. I was constantly accused of being behind on work I was done with lol. I was only there a month because my manager felt she could schedule an unlimited amount of meetings with me too threaten and harass me. They are actually a lawsuit waiting to happen. I finished modules whos completion is computer generated and they put them back on and tried to make me do them again as a bullying tactic. There is nothing to this company but narcissism and abusive behavior there is no job. They had nothing because I didn’t allow them to emotionally abuse me so they fired me. I kept asking WHAT IS THE JOB? Because there was none lol just be available to be falsely accused and emotionally abused from 8-5. No thank you

Pros

Easy work Benefits start 1st of the month after you start Additional Covid Sick/Emergency days to use a year Flexibility to work from home, hybrid or office (you choose) Flexibility to work longer hours and work another day less (total 40hrs/wk) No micromanaging as long as you your work and reach metrics

Cons

Long process to get hired Low pay considering the higher cost of life and inflation which continues on the rise every day. If you are a single mom you wouldn't survive with only the salary from this position. Even if you're bilingual you won't get differential pay Too many systems to use Super repetitive work Not much support from your people leaders when you need immediate help with a member. They will never give you a straight up answer, but only redirect and refer you to an article for you to find the answer. When you're new its very frustrating as you want to assist the member and be able to keep your AHT low and FCR high. Don't get me wrong the cons aren't that bad and manageable. If pay isn't the main reason why you work then it won't be an issue. For me that is a deal breaker and main reason why I won't stay. I do need more to be able to provide for my family and live a comfortable life.
