Company with no management experience on how to train, settle and retain their employees- Current management staff has less than 10 years of total work experience - so have no one has refined management or leadership skills. The leaders are very opinionated and abrasive in their behavior to their team members. So many new hires were placed on 'PIP'- Performance Improvement program within 3-6 months of their hiring- this happens only when Management has no proper on-boarding or settling in process. Their only motto is - hire and fire or quit because you cannot handle management style. The company almost harasses new hires to a point that they leave if certain team leads/leadership don't like them. They recruit extensively from out of town resources for a very low salary - their salaries are on an average 30% lower than their peers in the industry

We are really sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We are currently rolling out a Learning & Development program for all current and future leaders at the company. As with most things in a rapidly growing company, it takes a bit of revising to get it just right. Both our PIP program and the onboarding process has been overhauled and formalized in the past year. We take this feedback very seriously and will continue to tweak processes as needed.

Not a professional setting, disorganized chain of command, limited opportunity

I found it to be a fraternal, college-like environment unbecoming of a professional atmosphere. Staff would blast music during the work day. No phones provided to staff, yet staff would be expected to use their personal data plans to conduct business calls. Small, unkempt office in an aging building, with child-like decorations and features (including a McDonalds-type children's play ball pit). I experienced a very unclear, disorganized reporting structure, communicated this to management and it was not rectified. They promised a bonus and reneged without a valid justification. They can be stringent about office working hours (at least 9 to 6) and yet many employees work remotely seemingly with little accountability or oversight. Those who supervised had extremely limited work experience (first job after college, without even several years of work experience) and certainly little to no prior management experience and should be trained prior to taking on direct reports of any kind.

Fortunately, we're finally moving out of our space this summer - it will be worth the wait for those who endured these years of working in a scrappy and humble office. The ball pit has been a thing of the past since about two years ago and we've since created a more clear reporting structure (with even more to do as we grow)! We are an equal opportunity employer and take only merit into consideration for promotions and additional perks. We take this very seriously and are very sorry that it wasn't a good fit for you while you were here - we hope you do well in your current and future endeavors.

can feel a bit cliquey at times, lower pay than average
