Pros

New friends and lots of incentives

Cons

I was being sexually harrassed and other coaches on my viasat team completely ignored me and were going behind my back with the guy harassing me and trying to get me fired or "push me out" I felt unsafe and got in trouble when sexual rumors were being spread about me. As if it were my fault. Completely took my harrasers side because hes a "big seller". Women, dont work here. You will not be respected or taken seriously

We absolutely do not tolerate any form of sexual harassment and will not accept it from any employee, regardless of level.

Pros

- Good benefits like free health care, ski passes, and flexible office hours (depending on who your manager is) - Friendly colleagues - Relaxed workspace with ping pong table and casual dress code

Cons

The culture at Clearlink is advertised as one thing, but in reality is far from what they say they are. The company says to value their people and says that it’s a place to learn, grow and improve their skill set for their career, but ideas are shut down and the workers are severely undervalued. While there is an Inclusivity & Diversity department, it exists solely to advertise Clearlink as a “woke” company to the press while employees who actually are minorities and members of protected classes are systemically oppressed and their legitimate concerns rug-swept and dismissed.
Directionless leadership, the result of nepotistic promotions of a select few in the inner circle/boy’s club, is running the business into the ground. Management is extremely set in their ways and instead of innovating or taking risks to try new things, they cling to outdated marketing methods and practices in an attempt to reclaim the now long-gone success of the past. Strategy is talked about often, but new and successful initiatives are rarely, if ever, actually implemented.
There is also a large disconnect between employees and management. Employees are held to a high standard of accountability while the same standards do not apply to management. Management is hesitant to promote employees and the path for career growth is subjective and based on favoritism. Management promotes themselves and their friends endlessly while entry to mid-level employees ultimately leave to other companies in order to get the pay and positions they deserve.
Clearlink is less of a company that is struggling to adapt in the fast-paced, digital world. It is more like a sinking ship. My advice to potential employees and current employees is to abandon ship before you go down with it.

We are disappointed to learn that we were not able to deliver the exceptional employee experience we strive for. Striking the balance between promoting from within and bringing in the best talent is a delicate one, and we are constantly trying to make the leadership decisions that are right for our people and our unique culture. While we love celebrating the collective successes we have all achieved, we understand we can not simply rely on the techniques and strategies that have worked in the past, which is why we advocate for all our people to have a growth mindset, regardless of their level or area of the company. We are very proud of our Inclusion and Diversity initiative and the efforts that have been made across the organization. From leadership training to employee focus groups to activities focused on bias mitigation, we are very serious about nurturing an environment that is welcoming and safe for anyone and everyone. We do not condone discrimination of any kind and take any such allegations with the utmost urgency. Please contact us at HR@Clearlink.com so we can discuss your experience further.

Pros

There are great people throughout the company, which is why some of these posts will tell you it's better than what the many, many other posts are telling you. Unfortunately, those great people are not at the top of the company.

Cons

Simply put: the CEO and the President can't be trusted. They will put on a great face and tell you everything you want to hear- they'd be great used car salesmen. (You can search YouTube for what happened the one time the CEO didn't put on his happy face) But they'll never tell you what's actually happening at the company, including that they laid off over 100 of your co-workers. If confronted, they say it was out of their hands. Seriously, they laid off over 100 people over three rounds and the CEO did not say a single word about it to the company. Do you really want to work at a place where the CEO won't say anything about folks losing their jobs unless he is confronted, and then all he says is the layoffs were out of his hands? That doesn't exactly exude competence or leadership you can get behind.
