Pros

Can't speak for the company as a whole, but, at least in IT, people are trusted and appreciated.

Cons

None. Lenexa/Kansas City has multiple organizations in the business of processing biological samples for insurance companies, drug companies and such - in my experience, based on first hand knowledge and empirical evidence from friends I know and trust - start with CRL if you want a job in the industry.

Pros

My last day at CRL.

Cons

Everything! There isn't enough space for me to post all of the incompetent, immoral, unethical, unprofessional, buisness decisions/activities I was witness to. Good employees don't stay because they wise up and quit or get fired for trying to change the status quo. They are looking for employees that don't make waves, will fall in line, and not question those in charge.

Pros

The only pro I could think of was quitting.

Cons

Management was terrible all the way to the top. I watch good people get fired for reporting issues. They kept and promoted the poorest of employees due to favoritism. Terrible and unsafe environment to work in, not because of poor equipment but because of employees/shift leads/ supervisors not using it properly or at all. You wouldn't dare step out of the lab if it wasn't break time and if it was break time you would be written up if even a min over.
