Pros

Some great coworkers. Some elements of culture remain strong. Great benefits. Many easy jobs (outside of design) with a healthy work-life balance.

Cons

Many leaders in senior managements are selected for favoritism, not for experiences or skills. Apparel group very poorly guided from the most senior level. Incompetent. Poor product decisions and lack of accountability result in long hours and wasted time. Many layoffs. No job stability. Very little respect to design jobs. Not recommended for designers.

Pros

The party on the patio during the summer can be fun and lots of activities. The gym, fitness classes and cafe are fabulous. For designers and other business people it might be an outstanding place to work just not for I.T.

Cons

The politics in I.T. are madness. The worst teams get the most training and resources but the high performers just get more work and denied training or career advancement. There is never teamwork and the strong silo environment create chaos and relatively little chance of anything ever being on time and successful. Not a great place to work if you value your skills and take pride in success.

Pros

Excellent healthcare plan and employee discount access. Compensation is competitive.

Cons

Though this is a publicly traded company it is very much firmly in control of the Boyle family and their favored employees. A pervasive issue with the company under funding and under supporting critical operations. Teams have too few members while demand on them is extremely high. Additionally, senior leadership is extremely resistant to changing the manner in which work is conducted. The corporate motto "It's perfect, now make it better" breeds a toxic environment of perfectionism and overwork in which extremely high standards are not properly communicated to workers, and expectations are never met.
