Pros

Decent benefits, and depending on the individual you can get assigned a good manager. Training is plentiful, if you can get approved for it. Flexible with PTO.

Cons

Contrary to the company's self assessment of technicians recognition, technicians are invisible. Rare postings, if any, of technicians contributions to customer service and satisfaction. Management and Sales receive most recognition. Increased compensation encouraged more by the number and quality of customers you can direct to the company. School reimbursement is skimpy and the approval process is a hassle. You may get enough to payment for 1 or 2 classes for 1 full year.

Pros

The benefits are good except the 401K. The company match to the 401K is way below par. CompuCom is a good place to get basic experience.

Cons

Expecting to work off the clock to as in working through unpaid lunch breaks. I have been with the company 11 years. A lot has changed. No cash bonus for exceptional work. Now it is company chit (Compucom monopoly money) that can only be spent at the company store for over priced items, which you will later it will appear on your W2 statement.

Pros

First let me say I worked for Getronics before CompuCom bought them, and I never stepped foot into a Getronics/CompuCom building. I work for them now going on two years, (I think) there are about 35-40 CompuCom employees here, Help Desk, Network support, Server, Desktop support, and Data Base etc... My co-workers are a very knowledgeable, they help me more then management. I get free parking in the City something that the company I work at there employees don't get. Benefits are okay, not the greatest. Tuition reimbursement is available only 5k a year though, its lower then most large companies give out.

Cons

No raise, for the past two years (nobody got one)! I know one of my co-workers got an amazing evaluation didn't get a reward/raise. Another co-worker that was transfered to our site from another CompuCom site stated that he never got a pay raise, he worked for them for 8 years he left the company no to long ago, oh well don't blame him. Benefits have been reduced blamed on the economy of course. No real room for growth here as well, you would have to move to another CompuCom site or find a new job. No pay raise... sigh, they wonder why I'm reluctant to take on new projects just keep fixing the stuff that breaks that will allow me to keep my job. That way I don't have to think either - lol.
