Pros
Depending on the project, can gain a lot of experience, however must be a self-sufficient employee to do so. CEO and upper management are some of the best out there, super smart people who mean well and want the best, however a lot of it gets lost in mid-level management.
Cons
Long hours (6-4/5) for not the best pay ($70k-$85k). Not a lot of mentorship, there’s trainings, but mostly just a sink or swim/throw you to the wolves attitude on jobs. Usually everyone’s so stressed they don’t have time to train you. Pretty toxic at times in job trailers with PMs thinking they know everything barking orders. Field crews usually solid people who are very skilled at what they do/provide the most insight and you actually learn the most from them. Some of the supers are great, a lot of good ones left for more money.
