ConstructConnect bought out Construction Journal in December of 2021 and immediately fired overseas employees. After 3 months of being promised job security, the vast majority of Construction Journal was just fired while ConstructConnect teams remained untouched. This was after being promised our seniority would transfer over and our jobs were guaranteed as part of the acquisition. We were straight up lied to.

CC is ok for a short term temp job.

Cons

Regardless of the department you work for, content, sales, IT, programming, database, HR, etc. Management will work against you. They will find new ways to reduce your pay, trivialize your job, or force you to want to leave. Don't expect to grow with the company or believe its a forever job. After you reach a certain point in pay or age they will force you out one way or another to replace you with somebody making half what you did.
