Pros

The people on the front line the worker bees. Some of the best people I've ever met.

Cons

Within 45 minutes of being fired, I receive a call from someone in the operations department who received a call from someone in the training department about me being let go. How would someone in the training department know about the termination of an employee? I will tell you, Human Resources is a joke and can't keep anything confidential. This place is run on favoritism and discreetly ask managers to leave good reviews on here. Not to mention the Grindstone facility is infested with snakes and has been for years. Big snakes that actually come out to the working areas. Literally, at times snakes even fall from the ceiling. Toilets back up into the office and all you smell is feces. They wait hours to bring in portable toilets and in the meantime expect their handicapped workers to walk across the street or the other side of the building to use the restroom at a different establishment. Carpets haven't been cleaned in years. This has OSHA written all over it. Not 1 supervisor or trainer ever received official training. When it rains outside, it rains inside. Little to no room for advancement even though that's how the job was presented to me. Ceiling tiles are black with mold. I could go on forever.

awful company and workplace

Pros

Work is not overly difficult. decent pay. Flexible schedule. Nice people below management

Cons

This company is a complete abomination. My co-workers are great people but management and the toxic environment will keep you in a dark place and leave you regretful about your life. 1. They moved the company office from a nice, professional setting in German Village to a former Big Bear grocery store in Hilliard. Traffic in the area is among the worst in the county. This featureless dump of a building has no windows, is always freezing, and is too big for the company. About half of the enormous office floor is a huge empty space. 2. No structure whatsoever. Good luck getting any help from management. They always try to pass the buck onto somebody else. None of them take responsibility for technical issues or other delays. 3. Most of the managers are two-faced and calculating. Awful, unpleasant people. In one instance, a particular manager with awful body odor mocked a customer service rep over her religious beliefs. 4. We had a decent health, dental and vision plan that the company dumped to save money. Now they don't even offer dental or visual coverage. 5. They hire everyone and their mother. There are at least three different people who I spot every day muttering to themselves like escaped mental patients. Other people have been hired with outstanding arrest warrants. 6. Nothing ever works. For a tech company, it seems like we have nothing but technical issues at this place. 7. The company's future doesn't look too bright. They fired their top sales associate, the one who essentially made them a business, and now they're scrambling to add clients. I have no idea how this company will stay in business for the next five years.

Pros

Relatively decent pay - depends on your project. Decent parking. Located near a few food and small shopping businesses if a quick run is needed for nothing too specific.

Cons

More than I'd like to be listing. Slow HR response rates. Favoritism to the extent if one person on your project has their own unspoken opinion of you, and you do a better job than them, you'll be fired or removed from your project without warning. I've seen people terminated for being in the hospital, with excuses, and not being able to communicate with their leadership or the company on their status. Disregard for formal complaints (unless you're favored). Worked for a year ans got your yearly raise, but the base pay rate went up? You're at the base pay rate now and lose that bonus percentage raise. Worked here too long and capped your pay, and the pay rate went up? You're capped at where you're at without that difference in base pay rate. Lose your vacation time you've been saving up because you've been unknowingly moved off your project and they "accidentally" terminated you instead while youre given delayed options to move to other projects/clients? Goodbye vacation time - you won't get it back. Poor management overall, with the guise that they know better than you do - you're inferior and should just be a "yes man". Your personal health and mental well-being is not that important to them, but they'll say you matter. I've seen way too much here to advise anyone I care about to apply. This isn't my first rodeo with them, but it's certainly my last.
