Pros

I started with CoventBridge Group a few months after the ICS Merrill and GlobalOptions Merger. And though I have heard from some that the merger was difficult (which all mergers have hurdles), I have truly seen the executive team listening to its employees and responding in a way that shows their effort in trying to solve for any obstacles that employees communicate. Also, I have heard from many employees that they see and are extremely impressed with the time and effort the executive are putting in to listening to their concerns. Not only have executives been continually prying to have employees come to them with constructive feedback, they have also: implemented many initiatives to create an open door atmosphere here. From open office hours on executive calendars that employees can schedule, committees to be the voice of the field staff to the management team, to a monthly employee newsletter that highlights employees that provides videos to meet the employees, to an anonymous idea box submission platform, to an initiative to have all management visit field staff whenever traveling, and last but not least, the constant modifying of protocols and procedures when given feedback. I have never worked for a company where I can say the management team has stopped and listened to its employees and then ran full force into making such impactful changes. I've been with companies where executives listen and it all sounds good at first, but then no action is taken. On top of the care executive and management teams, this company provides benefits that far out shine any other investigative solutions organization. CoventBridge is investing in its employees and clients in everywhere. I have really enjoyed working here so far and have been empowered and motivated by all the people looking out for one another!

Cons

I think at first the communication to the field staff needed to be more often, but now they are continually communicating and in a way that explains the reasoning for why things are being done, which really provides insight versus just saying "yes" or "no".

Pros

No current pros. Before the merger at least we had work

Cons

The company has lost numerous clients during and after the merger and subsequently work is way down as are revenues. Management is banking on "new clients" that are alleged to be coming on. All the while they are attempting to hire more people when the work is not there for them, The current Billing Efficiency program they instituted recently is basically a way for the company to reduce field investigator hourly pay company wide. They are owned by a UK holding company and with revenues WAY down investors are not happy.

CoventBridge Group appreciates thoughtful feedback. To address your review, numerous clients have either increased, or committed to, new programs with CoventBridge over the past few months, and with that, we are proactive in hiring additional staff to meet our clients’ needs. We take a targeted approach to adding staff, so assignments are more balanced for our investigators, rather than over utilizing some and underutilizing others. The production Compensation Incentive Plan indeed provides financial incentives for investigators to achieve bonuses related to their efficiency and many have enjoyed those rewards. Safeguards are built into the program to ensure efficiency is tracked fairly and accurately, and the vast majority of investigators achieve the minimum target levels. Efficiency and productivity are key drivers for strong financial performance, which funds growth through future investment in our people and other capital projects. We welcome feedback, but strongly prefer to receive it through one of many methods available to all our staff. If necessary, employees can anonymously submit feedback, concerns or new ideas to better our organization. Pros

Mr. Merrill and his east coast exec team have an open door policy. Non-threatening manner when bringing things up to their attention. Average pay for vendor investigators Vehicle allowance is above average

Cons

West Coast Exec mgmt are threatening in nature when is comes to conference calls. West Coast Exec mgmt team do not have an open door policy- even though the company say they do. They never call investigators back, and when they do, it is days/weeks later. West coast exec mgmt team are always blaming the investigators for lack of work, even though the west coast sale person seemed not to care. West coast Case Manager gets in trouble for sticking up for their investigators.
