Pros

Great people work here. The benefits are really good and the company subsidizes the majority of the payments. PTO is sub-standard, and you have to accumulate PTO each pay period so basically have to wait mid-year to take vacation. Pay was more than expected.

Cons

The CIO is dismantling all of the IT key infrastructure and services. She knows nothing about IT and is only focused on getting rid of services and people to save money, Stripping away 90% of the people who support IT, now working with a skeleton crew. Also refuses to backfill positions with people within US, These positions are for highly skilled labor and require certifications that cannot be filled with non-skilled workers in Central America. And don’t trust management when they tell you no more layoffs.

Pros

Crowley has good benefits and the overall values are great. Compensation can be good if they value you.

Cons

* Direct management within the sales team at "The Rock" is by far the worst I've ever experienced in my life. * Work environment is very crippling and unproductive * Favoritism is blatant * If you want a career within Crowley I would not recommend starting in this department. * You cannot have a different opinion than the direct management * Treated like children * Bonus structure in the sales department is the craziest I've ever seen, and you're never guaranteed any type of incentive. The structure is 70% based on the actual numbers you bring in and 30% is based purely on what the management thinks about you, purely subjective. This is especially bad when favoritism is blatantly practiced on a daily basis.

Pros

Great job if you want to work long hours and make "optional" overtime, which turns into demanded and required overtime.

Cons

Management is disgraceful. Each uses profanity on the floor in casual conversation and directed towards employees. Absolute disfunction. Evenings spent until 10 pm working while management leaves promptly at 5 pm to go about their life. If you need help, you will not get it. The turnover is exceeding 75% as they deem every employee expendable. They boast about their investment in a career, but treat you like a pawn. If you are looking for a career in logistics, the recommendation is anywhere but here.
