Pros
Work directly with clients and provide input on tasks. Depending on your education or experience you will be asked to provide plenty of feedback and input. Lots of opportunity to take on tasks independently. Pay is alright but don’t expect any bonuses. Managers require 3 days a week in office and allow 2 remote.
Cons
Sit in a cubicle from 9-5 or later everyday at a computer. Will constantly be on calls with your team or clients and working on tasks. Be prepared to justify every minute of your day to your manager and explain each task you did. You will literally check in and check out each day. Company culture is weird and extremely cliquey. Truly don’t understand how people have stayed at this company for as long as they have. Managers and senior consultants will critique every single item you work on. Don’t be surprised if they can’t give a strong answer when you ask for feedback or clarification. Ultimately be prepared to be a secretary for the clients. The company might say you’re doing a great job and working on essential tasks but don’t be surprised when you’re actively managing a calendar for clients. Super essential!
