Brilliant team with unique titles

Pros

Very talented team of engineers, designers, and creatives. It's a great place to get work on a bunch of different titles. Everyone shares the same vision for creating great games, so it made it really easy to integrate with the team.

Cons

Dire Wolf needs to do a better job at having more company-wide get togethers to keep camaraderie up

Pros

I worked for DWD for just over 2 years. The company is by far one of the best companies I have worked for. Great upward mobility me and many of my peers move up spots during our time. Management notice the people who are putting in 100 percent and move them up frequently.

Cons

Nothing I can think of. I left to a different industry and this had nothing to do with DWD.

Their passion shows in their games

Pros

Great devs working on some really cool games. Everyone is super passionate about what they are making and it shows. Pokemon and Eternal are amazing. The digital and physical board games they've released are constantly winning awards. Only real secret sauce is that everyone at the studio is a gamer and the artist, designers, engineers, qa, and producers all really work well together as a team to make the magic happen. Also, some older reviews mentioned crunch so I think it's worth saying that while certainly an issue in the past, Dire Wolf has really turned a corner here. Zero crunch on most projects and the ones that do have it are very rare, not crazy late, and just for a day or 2.

Need to celebrate studio accomplishments more
