Pros

Creative and caring work environment Interesting projects Great benefits and compensation Very supportive environment for career growth Top notch executive team They're actively working on inclusiveness

Cons

Individual contributors are sometimes left out (Work of Your Life, for example) Alcohol oriented culture and not very open to hearing that hey some people can't/shouldn't drink or like being around people when they're drinking. Dental plan is not great.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's great to hear you find the environment creative and caring and that exec leadership gets your vote. Regarding ICs being left out of "Work of Your Life", I think you are referring to the "Work of Your Life Manager program" which is a development program for current managers. Hopefully there are other resources available to you via DocuSign Learning (which includes access to HBS and LinkedIn Learning) as well as the annual $5K Education Assistance budget if you are curious about management skills development. Your comment regarding alcohol is a concerning one and I hope you are comfortable approaching your HRBP to discuss that situation more. This should not be the case.

Pros

DocuSign is the place to be, the company leadership has shown how much they care about the employees especially during the pandemic. There is ample opportunity to grow and show your talent. Employees love what they are doing and put in their best into the product and customers love DocuSign. DocuSign taking huge steps in being Developer focused, our APIs and SDKs are now more developer centric and makes life easy for devs integrating DocuSign into their workflows.

Cons

Compensation needs to get better, and there are still some growing pains.

Pros

As an org, DocuSign has clear cut goals. Management communicates them and provides regular updates. Most people on my team have an owner mentality - we all have stocks and pay careful attention to the price. It’s a great mentality that keeps me excited to log on every day. I feel supported by my manager and team - our quotas are challenging, but I’ve been able to hit and exceed consistently. The commission pay out is great - I’m definitely making good money. Covid response: I’m impressed by leadership’s early response to covid. DS takes really good care of its people.

Cons

- Lack of clarity about go-forward remote work policy. Tech companies such as Facebook and Twitter have made a commitment to allowing permanent remote work. Please let us know.

Thank you for sharing your detailed thoughts. It's great to hear that you believe we have clear goals and that most people have an owner. (I really think that is true and refreshing). It's also wonderful that you feel so supported by your manager. That makes a huge difference. Thank you for also recognizing our leadership's early response to COVID-19 and ensuring its employees were taken care of. That means a lot. As Joan Burke said on the last All-Hands call, we have said all employees can work remotely until the end of the year at least and we likely we offer much greater flexibility for employees post-COVID-19. We all acknowledge that people can work remotely effectively and leadership is figuring out what makes sense for our business. Please be patient and stay tuned.
