Pros
Friendly co-workers that I enjoy working with, somewhat of a family atmosphere No sales goals, comfortable work environment Lots of training so it is a good place to start a career and learn about banking Rates, products, and services are competitive with or better than other banks in area Job security Holidays off
Cons
Salaries are lower than other banks, consequently many good employees leave and turnover at times is high. Hard to advance, they would rather hire from the outside than to promote from within. Getting promoted can be political and criteria inconsistent on determining promotions. Many promotions are for a better title, but not much better pay. Technology is lagging and needs modernized. At some branches you feel like you are in the wrong decade or even wrong century because of how out dated it is.
