Pros

Scheduling is fair, opportunity to work in a quiet place at home whether you are sick or well is a given with remote work.

Cons

Pay is unrealistically low - even lower than a customer service agent - yet too many pices of software to work that create too many distractions before and after the call. Attitude towards numbers NOT to call anymore (double documenting them) is part of the OCD culture of perfection that leaves one drained and uninspired to "produce" results or stay with the company long term. Employees are professionally manipulated by management to do personal surveys and gamilification every day, enabling Dynata to "skim off and sell" those results as well to who-knows-what 3rd party dealing with labor statistics.Keeoping you busy up to your eyeballs from beginning to end of shift is also very obsessive compulsive (OCD) and only a symptom of a deeper problem of distrusting existing employees.

Pros

Flexible hours You can pick your hours most are evening shifts

Cons

Horrible company, if you are running into technical issues and you try to get in contact with your supervisor or any customer support they will ignore you. Then they will purposely log you out and clock you out because they aren’t helping to solve the problem. And if you aren’t having any technical issues and are calling the maximum 65-100 calls per hour they will find a reason to clock you out on the first hour (example I called over 120 people in a hour) and they clocked me out saying I wasn’t making enough calls. Horrible company they will do anything to save money and pay you the lowest.

We often find that flexibility is one of the greatest benefits of our call center positions, and we are glad you’re enjoying it. Despite this, sorry to hear that you are largely dissatisfied with your Dynata experience. While working in a virtual capacity, the occasional technical hiccup can be expected. There is only so much we can do with basic troubleshooting for our remote workforce. However, it is not our practice to log employees out or clock them out to avoid providing assistance. We aim to provide as much troubleshooting as possible so that you can effectively perform your job. If you feel this was your experience, we encourage you to reach out to your HR representative or direct manager to rectify the matter. Regarding compensation, our voice services leadership team understands the importance of your role and evaluates wages to ensure they are within market range. Thanks for your review.

Pros

It’s a work from home position. Very easy to get hired.

Cons

The micromanaging. You have to share your screen so they’re watching and listening. They’re constantly sending you direct messages and even though you’re on calls they want responses right away or they’ll keep trying to contact you. It’s overwhelming and the reason I left. They mislead you: They assured us that it was set up in a way that we’d never be calling people late at night. Many times I had angry people on the other side of the phone because it was close to 10 pm in their time zone. It’s really just you harassing people, mostly the ederly. They have people go through a process of being “removed” from their calling list, they make you call them anyway.

Although it’s great that you recognized the flexibility of the role, we are sorry you were so dissatisfied with your time at Dynata. Due to production quotas and the duties of the position, managers need to know how many calls are made per shift, and how many surveys are completed, but it’s certainly not meant to feel micro-managed. Additionally, our intention is never to harass anyone. Respondents do not have to answer the phone, and can certainly request to be removed from our call list. We have many who have been happily taking our phone surveys for years! Thank you for your review.
