I would rather be unemployed than work here again.

Pros

Benefits (until they started switching providers). Tuition reimbursement. Work environment laid back with jeans and t-shirt. Truck loads of junk food to keep you working (if you like that stuff). Random nerf gun fights and foosball table.

Cons

I've witnessed being lied to, bullying, backstabbing management and executives, druggy employees, underpaid and overworked, upper management protected no matter the circumstance, employees promoted to management based on seniority with no education or management/leadership skills, constantly being sued by previous employees/investors and being investigated by L&I. HR is a run by unqualified uneducated self-centered paper pushers that did nothing if issues aroused and discriminated against employees after finding out about medical conditions. The hiring process is slow and painful. Executive team didn't care about employees since they were only interested in selling the company. Don’t be fooled by the “best places to work” since all the votes were from internal employees due to HR pushing so hard. They offshore their product and their entire setup/code is a hack which constantly breaks, outage after outage, sprint after sprint. I have a hard time believing some of the positive reviews below because they sound like being written by internal people to lure new people in since all the great talent left. Avoid this place at all costs, you have been warned.

Pros

1. Some great people worked there and still remain (however, the caliber of people that are sought after now are 'yes men/women' simply to appease the investors) 2. The technology is impressive, but developers and product teams are not given the time to fully develop and so many solutions have smoke and mirrors.

Cons

1. People management – There are no people management or development programs in place, which means a top performer can be released on conjecture or subjective measures. There are no universal standards and management apply rules when it favors their intent and they neglect to apply them when it does not. 2. Sexual Harassment/Assault – women in the company are not treated equally. Director and Executive level leadership refer to women as simply good to look at, as if they bring no other value to the company. 3. Favoritism – Due to who you are related to or friends with, the company favors certain individuals no matter whether they are under performing or behaving unethically.

Pros

Was entreprenuerial until they sold out to private equity firm Free parking was nice until they moved downtown where parking is prohibitively expensive Quite collegial among employees until CTO/CEO made it clear that honesty and integrity were less valued than saying yes and agreeing to everything they said.

Cons

Executives routinely lie or alter the truth to placate employees. Executives lie to customers about new and improved products being developed (not). Executives support one another in their lies -- on occasion leading to improper firing of employees. Company routinely dismisses employees, often without cause and always without any due process. During my 10 years with the company, EVERY one of the 7 different executives to whom I reported was FIRED. Amazing! Compensation is well below market -- both base and bonus. Since private equity arrived, all incentive pay is focused on the top 10 executives. Employees across the board do not like working at the company. While the company has been hiring dozens of customer service and operations people, more than 50 professionals (in all disciplines) have quit.
