Pros

Not many right now to be honest!

Cons

The building is infested with bedbugs and it's not the first time this has happened!!! HR mismanages the situation every time, accuses and interrogates anyone that comes forward to report being bitten, refuses to do anything to treat until there's full on infestations. It's happened THREE TIMES NOW. Several employees were bitten last time, people have left over it, it's ridiculous that they don't take this seriously. On top of the rest of the stress of this underpaid and understaffed job, this just isn't worth the paycheck.

EagleView takes the health and safety of our employees very seriously and we are disappointed that this reviewer felt we did not do enough. Once we heard of a potential bedbug issue, we immediately brought in multiple bug extermination experts (and even a bed bug sniffing dog). Even though all of the experts did not find anything initially, we still sprayed the areas as a precaution and to protect our employees. A while after the spraying, there was another bed bug sighting and after immediately bringing the experts back in, it was determined by them that an employee was inadvertently bringing in bed bugs. The bed bugs were found in an isolated work space and not throughout the office. Despite that, we still resprayed the entire area two other times as an overabundance of caution. In addition to protecting the work space, we offered to pay for inspections at employees’s homes as needed, and worked privately with the employees to ensure the ongoing well-being of our staff in and out of the office. We are happy to report that EagleView has since moved to a brand new headquarters in Bellevue, WA and has not experienced any issues since.

Pros

Some co-workers are top notch.

Cons

Laughably low pay compared to any job here found with a different employer. Favoritism and nepotism run amok here. Unless you are comfortable sacrificing your own self respect and dignity to succeed here, I strongly recommend applying or working literally anywhere else. Senior management and executive leadership come in one of two flavors at EagleView: 1) astoundingly disconnected from the proletariat and unaware of needs and issues at the worker level. Example - CEO's monthly email blast is called "A View From The Helm" with a picture from his/a yacht, sent out to hundreds of employees who work 2,3,4 jobs outside of EV since the pay is so low. 2) a power trip embracing dictator-type "leadership" reminiscent of the 1930s/1940s. Even the smallest hint of disagreement results in being blacklisted. Open door policies and placing "candor" as a company value but only when the conversation puts the company or person in a positive light.

Pros

Two costco deliveries weekly, so, there's that.

Cons

Leadership liked to talk about people making careers at EagleView, but there was very, very little room for growth. Leadership at the director level was insanely hard to trust. They were very duplicitous and fake to your face. In terms of pay, you are getting nothing to write home about. There are lots of promised raises, but very few actually enacted, and when they are given, they're a matter cents. They talk about how they do "market research" to make sure their pay is fair, but a look at any job site will tell you different. On top of that, you are more often than not expected to work hours upon hours of OT, to skip lunch and breaks, and be happy about it. When I started the company had a great culture, great management, and they made the sacrifices worth it. As the company grew and was acquired by Vista, it took a swift down turn, and is no longer worth all the negatives.
