Pros

benefits, ability to move up if your willing to transfer or move around a lot, yearly raises(though small).

Cons

every year they add more to your work load and find ways to take more money from you at the same time. such as last year they lowered the benchmark as for what is an emergency thus increasing the volume of calls while decreasing the payment increments from at least 30min a call to 15min. Now they are forcing G-5 employees to pay pet rent (250$ + 20$ per animal a month) and forcing them to pay 20$ a check to have their uniforms cleaned, and Edward rose cable is no longer free. Office employees must now also spend over 1000$ a year of their own money on certain cooperate approved cloths while only allowing you to use their vendor which pays them for this, all while making you turn in your receipts so they can write it off on their taxes.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the fact that you have been a team member for over three years and as such, you are well aware of the changes we have been going through during your tenure. Unfortunately with change comes discomfort at times. We recognize there are improvements needed with communication between the corporate office and our site locations. This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that several of the cons listed above simply are not factual. We’d be happy to address any specific concerns you have and provide clarification so you will not continue to be misinformed. Please contact Kathryn Morris at (248) 686-5500.

Pros

It used to be a fun place to work. All the positive experiences have been replaced with threats and reduced pay. No more mileage, holiday parties, picnic unless you work at corporate. We know our place now.

Cons

You are punishing those of us who have followed the rules. I have already purchased clothes to wear at work that are acceptable under the dress code. Now with very little warning, you are forcing us to pay for expensive new clothes. I hope you are proud of yourselves. You could have bought the first round of clothing and gotten a big tax write off, but you decided to take it from your struggling workers and threaten them with termination. The clothes that we already bought and only wear to work are wasted. So those that are doing what they are supposed to get screwed twice. Did you think for even a minute about how you will be hurting employees and their families? When someone chose to say something, we were threatened with losing our jobs if we said we feel the same. Is that even legal? You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

We are very appreciative that you have brought your viewpoint to our attention. Edward Rose strives to provide great benefits, generous PTO and a work-life balance to all of our employees. We wanted to find a way to streamline our dress code policy and opted to offer a discounted professional attire program. Employees may opt to receive an advance to be repaid over time to help spread out the cost of the apparel. Thank you for your feedback and continued loyalty. Please feel free to reach out to HR personally so we can further discuss the situation at (248) 686-5500. –Kathryn Morris

Pros

I have yet to find one positive about my experience. Will begin interviewing for other positions immediately.

Cons

I took this position even after reading the horrible reviews on this site. Trust me, you do not want to make the same mistake I did. If I could rank my experience with negative stars- I would. In a little over a year of being employed with this company, I've yet to find a happy employee. The culture, moral, and ethics of this company have certainly seen better days.
