Pros

I was a classroom teacher for nearly 10 years before I started teaching online with Elevate K-12. I can personally say that the online platform really makes things much easier. Some of the shy students start engaging and really start to participate. Since I teach a smaller group, I can understand each student's style of learning and pace the lessons. Also, I feel like a real teacher and not a tutor. There are managers all across that make sure that they guide me where I need support and help.

None. This company is doing a good job.

Pros

Such a pleasure to work in a high growth tech company that is women focused. The culture, teamwork and collaboration in people here is of a high power that comes from the top. I have needed a lot of flexibility with my family to work from home or different needs and I was given all opportunities. The most important thing here is high performance with integrity. When and how it happens is secondary. I wish more companies can have this culture where women feel empowered.

Pros

What a great product. I wonder why no one else does what they do. I have taught online before but have mostly done homework help teaching. Here I taught a whole semester to a small group and I had many classes allocated to me. This company will change how K-12 classrooms work. I don’t have to commute or spend money on gas and that helps me save a ton. They give the lessons and everything else needed. Good APMs to assist us.

Cons

High school students can have online behavior issues sometimes, but the company has a good system to handle that and assist instructors.
