Pros

I get to work in a school to run the Elevate K-12 classroom. I can choose my own hours and I can work those hours consistently for months. Students really enjoy the online classroom. the online support they have for tech issues is very prompt and efficient. Everyone here cares for what they do. Good experience of working in a classroom.

Cons

I dont get hours in summer so I have to look for other opportunities. Also, it will be good to meet other company people face to face. I only met my manager of operations and he was very good.

Pros

- I can select my hours and then I get classes - Very good lesson plans - Same students for all sessions - Really good online support in case there are issues - Company really cares about the students and the quality of teaching and outcomes

Cons

Took a few weeks to get allocated sessions. Students can misbehave some times but we get support to handle those situations.

It's a fast-paced, mission-centered company. You really see the impact of your work on a daily basis and I go to work every day knowing what I do is changing the futures of young people in America

Cons

Working here requires strong drive and motivation to change education--it's definitely not somewhere to just "chill"!
