Good part time job

Pros

I'm working from home and getting paid while taking care of my child, so it's a perfect fit for me. Sessions are allotted in advance to the same group of students for few months, so it's easier to get to know the students and teach according to their needs. We also get the lessons to be taught. The lessons are very well written. They've got a tech support team if something goes wrong during the sessions. Everyone is really nice here and always ready to help and support.

Cons

I can't make this a full-time job right now but I would like to make this full time.

Pros

Empowers employees and encourages team-oriented approach. Fast-paced so you won't be bored. Strong commitment to mission and values. Employees are passionate - genuinely care about the product and each other.

Cons

Things change quickly so you need to be willing to adapt. You need to be able to voice your opinions. To be successful, you must be able to constructively disagree if you have a differing view.

I teach a whole semester!

Pros

elevate k-12 is different from other tutoring companies where we have to wait for the parents to request a class. Here are the students are in a school and we get the same students for a whole semester (who are in groups). It makes teaching much easier. Their support team is really responsive and they give us content before the sessions too

Cons

Some of the students misbehave at times and it can get difficult in sessions. Also I had to wait for a long time after training to get sessions. They should assign more sessions faster.
