Pros

Its a good starting point when you are new to the solar industry.

Cons

As an admin, there is no clear path for advancement. We take on many responsibilities, yet we remain in regular craft positions rather than moving into management roles. The company needs to offer a higher hourly rate, as the current pay is too low, and also increase the per diem. Additionally, we are often overlooked during annual reviews. I've observed that in this workplace, advancement is difficult unless you are family or a friend of someone in management. Furthermore, management seems to overlook the fact that we are hourly employees, and being off work for two weeks or more during the holidays has a significant impact on our finances. The rollout of the new system has been poorly managed, and the training provided has been inadequate. Without proper training, it's challenging to perform our jobs effectively and efficiently.

While we strive to recognize and reward hard work, we acknowledge that there is always room for improvement. Your suggestions will help us reassess how we can better support employees in progressing within the company. • End-of-year impact: We recognize that holiday downtime can create financial challenges for hourly employees. We will take this into consideration as we review our policies to balance business needs with employee well-being. • New system and training: We understand that the rollout of the new ERP system has presented challenges. Training is a priority, and we are working to enhance the available resources to ensure all employees feel confident using the new system. RES is also deeply committed to a culture of fairness and inclusivity. Your observation regarding the perception of favoritism in advancement will be taken seriously, and we will continue working to improve transparency in our processes. Pros

The salary and benefits were appealing to me.

Cons

Executive management seemed reptilian and apathetic. RES Services senior management did not acknowledge my existence or work product. I compare the job with RES Services to a rodeo bull ride. I tried to hang on as long as I could but the psychological pain was too extreme and eventually I got thrown off into the dirt.
