Pros

Good benefits, hybrid or remote work schedules available, good work-life balance

Cons

Dev team is basically real estate flippers at this point as we sell our projects once we enter a queue. This is because ownership is extremely risk adverse when it comes to development. Senior leadership is seriously lacking - we haven't had a VP of Development in 6 months (and the job isn't even posted!!), and we haven't had a CCO in 2 years. Development feels like the red-headed stepchild of the company. Also, looking at job postings, we seem to be on the low end of compensation.

Pros

They are a small and nimble in the Canadian market, and often punch above their weight. Huuuge pipeline of projects from coast to coast = plenty of opportunities to make your mark.

Cons

Management often chases too many opportunities and stretches their staff a bit thin. Management tends to pivot their employees scope of work too often, which is probably a symptom of chasing too many opportunties and being understaffed.
