Pros

Ridiculous money spent on appearances and they have stupid fancy espresso and coffee machines in break room. Locally there are lots of places to eat, explore and discover. Pay was okay. Very close to Union station, if you want to avoid traffic.

Cons

First things outside of the company. Locations neat and super expensive. Parking in Denver is like $20 a day. And now for Res itself. Executives are probably over valued (as they are everywhere), highly incompetent, directors, included. Part of this is over expansion, lack of responsibility financially, lack of organization, lack of real leadership, and simply coasting along and keeping up appearances for the status quo. Lots of office politics and highly conscious of status within the organization. Res pretends to care about employees, but it all comes down to money, as expected from any company since 2008 really. They are not genuine or authentic in their culture. They pretend to care, pretend to diversify, but still practice discrimination and hide behind laws that make it legal (honestly so many ways to skirt employee protections in this day and age). As of 2025, it’s also confirmed renewable energy will have less funding from the Feds. This company is already struggling in the UK. The way they operate, it will eventually just fade out.

Pros

The salary and benefits were appealing to me.

Cons

Executive management seemed reptilian and apathetic. RES Services senior management did not acknowledge my existence or work product. I compare the job with RES Services to a rodeo bull ride. I tried to hang on as long as I could but the psychological pain was too extreme and eventually I got thrown off into the dirt.
