BEWARE- Regular Mass Layoffs

Pros

They are really great at appearing as an up and coming mental health software organization.

Cons

They are financially struggling much more than they have let on to their current employees and customers. Mass turnover in the last 6 months. New C suite has arrived and have “quietly restructured” the org- including mass layoffs as recent as August 2024. I highly recommend, for your own mental health, STAY AWAY from this company. Quite ironic that they claim to be an industry leader in mental health software, yet they discard their employees as if they're trash on the street. It pains me to know there are businesses that operate in this manner. Spare yourself a massive headache and wait on the next opportunity to present itself— away from Therapy Brands.

It's important to note that despite these changes, we have experienced the lowest turnover rate in three years. Decisions regarding layoffs are never taken lightly. We aimed to approach this difficult decision with the utmost care, offering an inclusive support package to those impacted. We strive to be transparent with our team members about our financial performance and any necessary steps we need to take to adjust our operations. During our quarterly town hall meetings, Our CEO and CFO share how our company holistically is performing against our goals for the year. We are committed to continually refining our processes and support systems to ensure we handle such transitions as responsibly and empathetically as possible. Regarding the influence of our private equity ownership, while they provide direction and support, we strive to make decisions that balance the needs of all our stakeholders, including our valued employees. Pros

Therapy Brands is a suite of customer-centric products all aimed to make clinicians lives easier and able to provide more and better care for their patients. I have loved getting to spend my career here and believe that the work I do matters.

Cons

It can be bureaucratic in some situations and hard to get a swift answer on what I would consider more urgent problems.
