Pros

You see the benefits and impact of your work first hand when customers go-live and stabilize. You work with r&d, customer leadership, technical support and other roles to make the whole system function. Lots of freedom in how you approach assignments. Great food on campus.

Cons

Epic expects you to work in multiple workstreams simultanously. For example, two or three customer projects, plus internal process improvement, plus pinch hitting when extra man power is needed. Longish hours. You need to learn how to say "no" in order to manage expectations.
