Pros

This job allows you to "choose your own path" and become an expert in something quickly if you want to. There are always things that can be improved, new regulations/modules that need solid recommendations and customer feedback, and ways to help out other staff. Other employees at Epic always have your back and everyone works towards making hospital systems successful. The amount you learn about operations, beet practices, and automation of processes is amazing.

Cons

Implementation staff are expected to travel, keep your promises, and work hard. This job isn't for everyone, but the folks that stay really love it. If you're looking for a 40 hour a week job that you go home every day, this isn't it.
