Pros

Good food, cool campus, and decent pay to distract from the issues. A fair amount of project ownership

Cons

Toxic culture created by upper management that includes gaslighting and ignoring feedback Also, salary roles are pressured to work 50-60 hours a week and track your time (down to 15 minute increments), despite only being paid for 40

Pros

- impact of work -people are very nice and hardworking

Cons

- 20 hour travel days - 50 hour work weeks - just not enough staff - non-compete essentially blacklists you from working in healthcare afterwards (no job at any customer even in non-epic related role) - if you leave at 1 year you have to pay back 2000 or 2500 relocation agreement (even though thats the half way mark for time to keep entire relocation agreement) - 6 month training happens while you are staffed to a full time customer (3 weeks of travel a month) - no extra compensation for traveling in evenings (this is normal travel time) and weekends - have to work (not travel) 2 days of the weekend to get 1 recovery day during week; if you travel all day saturday and work one day Sunday, you do not get a recovery day (day off) during the week since you “technically” only worked one day

Pros

- Many opportunities to take on challenging projects - Great pay and insurance - On campus food is yummy and cheap

Cons

- Expected to work 45+ hrs/week (hard to say no when everyone is doing it) - Expected to volunteer for 12 hr overnight or weekend shifts multiple times per year, which doesn't net any additional compensation or PTO - They tried to make people come back to work on campus during COVID-19 despite outcries from employees - Many difficult customers and bad managers - sometimes you get lucky, but it seems like most of the time you don't - Draconian work from home policies - Technology stack is outdated
