Pros

Some smart coworkers, good food, decent office spaces

Cons

if you get stuck on a tough project and you don't seem to get a long with your team then life is hell. Life is often hell for most people here.

Pros

Most people that work at epic are very intelligent and hardworking. You get both a lot of responsibility and a lot of freedom right from the start. No one is looking over your shoulder if you do well. And Madison is awesome. The pay is also very good.

Cons

There is no work life balance. You travel a ton (which is also a pro I'd say) but it's incredibly easy to work yourself to death because there is always something more to do. There's the mantra that if your customer fails to do their own job, you will need to do it for them. Although your preferences for customers as far as geographical location and other elements are taken into consideration it's far from a guarantee in where you will be constantly traveling to. PMs are also very disposable, especially if you don't perform up to par in your first year.

Pros

Good pay and good experience right out of college. First 3 months (if you don't get staffed early) is really fun. Would recommend starting in July or August. Great raises too if you put the work in.

Cons

Long hours, whether there are deadlines close or not. Little professional growth, and certain hoops you have to jump through to do what you want.
