Pros

They provide lots of opportunities to learn and grow your career. They compensate well and have excellent benefits, including an amazing sabbatical program for every 5 years you stay with the company. They try to have fun and make the campus an enjoyable place to be. The CEO is very involved in the company's day-to-day activities, which can be a pro or a con...depending on the situation.

Cons

They pay well, but they expect a lot; the hours and travel (depending on the position) can be very demanding and often don't allow for a good work-life balance. Most employees have the constant feeling of never being caught-up with their workload...it's a constant struggle of re-prioritizing to handle the biggest issue at the time. It's a work hard/play hard mentality, and I felt that sometimes the "work hard" aspect was not justified. It's very discouraging to be directed to put a lot of time and effort into something only to be told later that it wasn't actually necessary.

Pros

They say that you get paid a lot but that's mostly for folks who are able to suck up and stay at the company pushing paper (emails) all day. The average tenure here is about 1-2 years for project managers, and there's a reason for that. You could eat food on campus or go out so there's an option. Order in.... but then you have to give directions to buildings they won't know the names of. It's not like the campus has separate addresses for each building. Also, walking to the cafeteria can be pain in the butt, especially if you live on the opposite side of campus.

Cons

Your future employment prospects are terribad after Epic. No one will hire you. Then you'll have an entrepreneurial drive. Really do hope that works out... but it's been two years since Epic with not much progress and no sales? Where's the fast track to success? That's where working at Epic gets you - nowhere. Be prepared for a serious case of depression - they use you like a toy and forcibly harass you throughout your employment, and yes even after Epic they will for various reasons (e.g. non compete, negative reviews of Epic, negative publicity of any sort for that matter, etc.). You travel on the plane most of the time. This isn't too bad until you realize that you'll be coming in late night and have to show up in the office the next morning. If you have multiple customers then you'll be on the road the vast majority of the time. They take over your private life, and there is no work-life balance. They try to control every little thing you do in your life, but they don't take responsibility when things go south. They expect you to do everything yourself, to which I say no, not a chance. Draw the line. Did I mention you're basically just ensuring that software is installed correctly? It's like Best Buy's Geek Squad for hospital organizations.

Pros

Epic truly cares about their customers and creating the best possible product for them. Compensation is great, and office culture is laid back but highly driven.

Cons

It is located in wisconsin, which is about it's only drawback. Also two weeks of vacation is pretty lowsy compared to the other offers I recieved.
