Pros

It is very rewarding to get to work for a company that is truly a disruptor in an industry and is so focused on helping people. We are consistently focused on our customers and truly care about their experience. I feel valued in the work that I do and love the people that I work with. It is a group of really smart and caring people! I love that our values really mean something. The transparency we are given is empowering and enables us to make intelligent decisions based on what's happening in the business at the various levels. Our new office is AMAZING and I love having a Lucky Lab barista on site everyday. I genuinely feel like the work that I am doing matters and that is rare!

Cons

It would be nice if we had a larger conference room and some quieter lounge space for heads down work.

Great culture, genuinely friendly people with an exciting product and great growth prospects.

Not quite as organized in getting new employees set up as I would prefer. I intend on helping fix this.

A tangled mess.

Pros

"Transparency" in communicating the general health and economics of the business, very talented and passionate staff, decent pay and benefits.

Cons

Typical growing pains of a fast-growing start-up mix + out-of-touch management + lack in transparency about intercompany politics... all while not listening to staff = a lot is falling through the cracks.

Hello, thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry you didn’t value your experience at Everlywell. Start-ups are hard and oftentimes we are required to pivot, pick up slack, or be opportunistic. We strive to make every individual feel like they have a voice here, and we work to get better at it each day. We certainly agree that there are growing pains with a fast-growing startup. Management works very hard (see examples below) to ensure employees are heard and responded to daily, both anonymously and not anonymously. This ranges from anonymous employee surveys to 1x1s with the CEO to bi-weekly townhalls and quarterly business reviews that reserve a significant amount of time for questions. Company-wide action plans are published to the company and communicated to the board as well. In 2019, we began measuring our employee NPS anonymously via CultureAmp twice a year on a number of vectors, and we publish that data to both the company and our board with an action plan that we hold ourselves accountable for. Our most recent employee NPS, conducted in November 2019, had 100% participation and was a +78 overall for the company and a +86 for management (above +70 is considered strong and +80 is considered best-in class). If you would like to speak about your feedback more in-depth, we'd love to hear from you and ensure we can make Everlywell a great place as we grow for others. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the people team at people@everlywell.com.
