Pros

1.) Some of your coworkers are genuinely good people who look out for your best interests 2.) You get a chance to work with some industry-leading technology 3.) You get cake breaks every month...

Cons

1.) Middle management consists of a bunch of clueless buffoons, they're really only good at manipulating and politics. They will keep you in the dark and feed you nothing but doo-doo! 2.) The company is on a never-ending quest for re-orgs, layoffs and outsourcing. Very turbulent and downright depressing. 3.) Pay increases are very minimal and in no way merit-based. You will NOT be rewarded for hard work here. 4.) The corporate culture is very cut-throat and people won't hesitate to give you the cold shoulder. Coastal elitism prevails here-yuck! 5.) All of the talent is leaving one by one 6.) Company leadership is strongly lacking 7.) Low employee morale I could go on, unfortunately...Like I said before do yourself a favor and stay away from this place especially if you're a young person looking to build a solid career.

Circling the drain

Pros

Schedule Flexibility, Pay, nice offices

Cons

Inept leadership, customers are ignored, long term employees are being laid off and replaced by inexperienced workers in India. The bottom line is being bolstered by moving positions to low cost areas. Customers are leaving because the company doesn't understand their needs. Many customers are unhappy with a lack of support, lack of company vision, and the removal of long term relationships. Do not work here if you value transparency and want to be respected as an employee. This company is circling the drain and will likely be broken up and sold off with no care for the people who made it successful.

Pros

Free sodas, decent lower management, Dallas office has a pretty good atmosphere overall with wonderful people.

Cons

Over the past few years, things have gone downhill. Last year saw an exodus of the local developers, and those that were left were expected to compensate for the losses. We asked multiple times to hire someone locally who could handle dev ops, but we were told for almost a year that this was "in progress". That left a developer being turned into dev ops. Management hears our complaints, but progress in changes has been slow. Salaries are low, morale is lower, and stress levels are high. Management will also over promise to a client at the expense of the development team. This has been a problem in the past, and I expect it will happen again due to the politics. Overall, if things do not change then more developers will flee to places where they are appreciated and not treated like a head count of local workers.
