Pros

Innovative ideas, seem to have an overall plan.

Cons

Lack in integration of aquisitions, too much controlled by upper management. Even there is this "Reimagining software is bough. sold,..." slogan, I cannot see an overall strategy, a vision, what does Flexera stand for ? Nobody really knows Flexera. No brand. All solution areas are isolated silos in reality. Micromanagement is key. Key focused is asset management, new solutions lack in support & integration. And with any new aquisition it gets worser and all what happens is some integration into their "asset management" portfolio, which is great, but thats it already.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, so we can share with the team. We’d love to hear additional ideas on how to improve acquisition communications/ integration, making our vision come to life, and branding. You can talk to your HR contact if you’d like to share your thoughts confidentially. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

Strong vision and direction - After struggling in this are for some time, the company has really developed a strategic vision in the last 2 years and is pushing hard to execute it. Open Communication - The company has been implementing stronger agile processes and encourages 'ownership' at all levels that better empowers employees to speak their mind and seek out new ideas. It's a difficult change so impressed that they're willing to go through the pain to make a positive and impactful work environment.

Cons

Still a lot of churn going on as the newer processes get put into action but definitely can see the direction we're going

Thanks for the feedback – agree that our strategic vision is front and center (and often referenced), and we’re always pushing for employees to take action or own a project. That has been my experience here – there is a ton of opportunity and more than enough work, for people to “shine”. And noted on the change – we have to be deliberate and agile in our own change.

Pros

Benefits are good New Itasca office is nice Small company Small office Nearby fitness center Great engineering onsite Nice individual contributors

Cons

I can’t write an honest list cons because of fear of repercussions and no support or protection from HR, but that should tell you how bad it is.
