Pros

Frontier will do anything within reason for its employees and is very compassionate towards them, especially crewmembers. It is a fun, laid back place to work that rewards hard work.

Cons

I feel that this airline is very crewmember centric. It seems sometimes that Frontier caters to its crewmembers and is very lenient with them regarding thier performance and attendance. In other work groups, 6 sick occurrences means termination. As a crewmember this is not the case. If you can look past and ignore the primadona crewmembers, life here is good!

People love thir jobs, they love the little carrier that could and are proud to offer the best experience in the air. I'd also say we are pretty proud to slug it out with Southwest so well. The employees here care about themselves, our customers and each other. As every "expert" predicted the demise of Frontier as WN came to town, and before when Ted started and more recently when we filed Chapter 11, we pulled together and made it. F9 has had amazing performance over the past year in spite of all the negative. We made money in an ugly quarter, even when WN lost it (even if just on paper).

Cons

Life in Chapter 11 in a nasty recession.

Flight Benefits and vacation pay.

Cons

Very low rate of pay. There are no performance reviews and raises are based purely on seniority even thought there is no union in my department. Airline agents are responsible for a lot of sensitive security information, knowing complicated computer applications, as well as the general safety and security of the general public and are paid less than burger flippers.
