Good and bad at Frontier.

Pros

If you are non-union, your work schedule is fairly flexible. Most employees are very nice to work with.

Cons

Low pay, flights are almost always full so it can be tough to use your flight benefits.

Pros

Corporate employees and low-level management who, although quite rare, have a formal college education and can think outside of the industry, outside of the company, and outside of their own experience. Overall, the entire industry and this airline need some fresh perspectives and ideas. Too many people are in "protect-my-lifestyle" mode because they have been promoted upward way above their knowledge and ability and are panicking over the likelihood they will lose the job that is paying them far more than they deserve to make. I was lucky to have a manager who was not in this mode, but that luck was not enough to make me want to stay.

Overall, the entire industry and this airline need some fresh perspectives and ideas. Too many people are in "protect-my-lifestyle" mode because they have been promoted upward way above their knowledge and ability and are panicking over the likelihood they will lose the job that is paying them far more than they deserve to make. I was lucky to have a manager who was not in this mode, but that luck was not enough to make me want to stay, especially when management above my manager were too threatened by the presence of my manager to promote my manager.
