Pros

It seems as though life with GMR is only good if you somehow make it to the corporate level. Much of the management are young and really nice.

Cons

The only good thing about working in "the field" is the pay. It seems as though a lot of favoritism and related unprofessional things are going on behind the scenes.

Pros

I am passionate about the program that I was hired for, and have been for several years. I'm often in awe of the fact that I have the opportunity to assist with the launch of exciting new products and promotions for our client. GMR has a history of creating awesome experiences for consumers, and I am proud to be part of that legacy.

Cons

-Very little notice as to when to schedule trainings, which trickles down to the rest of the market staff -Poor pay in comparison to other companies and infrequent to non-existent pay increases -They actually did away with bonuses a couple of years ago -The options for health, vision, and dental benefits have decreased every year since I began my employment -Expenses are paid out-of-pocket and reimbursement is difficult to obtain -Frequent restructuring causes chaos and the loss of amazing employees -Employment is on a year to year basis, so there is no real job security. Several amazing managers were let go last year with no explanation -Unless you're in the "Boy's Club", you can expect to remain stagnant in your career growth -Market Managers have very little control over staffing in their own markets. We are often forced to utilize employees from other programs, and terminating genuinely awful employees is incredibly difficult. -A manager never really knows if their doing a good job. We typically only hear about things that were done incorrectly. Little to no face time with collegues gets frustrating.

Pros

I love GMR as a company, and find that it is very cooperative with family life. I like the benefits offered at GMR and I love the potential for career growth.

Cons

poor middle management, top heavy, advancement sometimes depends on who you know, social aspect is put in front of the work aspect, pay is lower than other companies with similar or same positions. Lack of communication sometimes and lack of confrontation - when an issue is presented sometimes nothing is done about it.
