Pros

Easy to get entry level field tech jobs, they take you as you are. There are ways to move up the ladder.

Cons

Poor Management, big time cheapskates. Good luck with the firm offering to give you more than a hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses. They work primarily in residential, which means that the company is not well diversified. You WILL drive your own vehicle onsite and not a company one. The company will in fact pay you the federal minimum for mileage reimbursement, but know they mark up the mileage cost and keep the remainder for the company on YOUR OWN DIME. They find ways to shave money off of EVERYTHING and the benefits are meh at best.
