Pros

The people at GlobalLogic are very nice. I love my co-workers. I just finished 3 years here and look forward to many more. The work environment is open (not boxed cubes) and we get free lunch every day. The CEO really cares about the employees. He is the best CEO I've have ever worked for. It is great having a leader that is extremely smart and I have confidence in. The pay is average. Benefits are good. Nice building with plenty of parking. The work is interesting and there is a wide variety of projects. Flexible hours (if you have kids to drop off at daycare or a doctors appointment) are helpful.

Cons

Better pay would be nice, but it really is a good place to work.

Pros

The talented, compassionate, but overworked managers who are usually trauma-bonding behind the scenes; the genius team members.

Cons

A data analyst position with GlobalLogic sounds great at first. You work for a Fortune 10 Tech client, on AI applications used by millions around the world. However, after nearly two years on the job, I can confidently say GL does not care for its employees, and its biggest innovation is the pioneering of a Black Mirror-style digital sweatshop. A standard day at GL is incredibly chaotic--changes come every morning, handed down by a client that is nearly psychotic in its demands. One day you are told that your team is doing incredible work; the next you are two weeks away from unemployment and helping to line up the next round of layoffs. Gaslighting, in short, is the norm. Due to this volatility, the mood of the team is often hesitant, hostile, and traumatized. The company overworks people at every level-analysts, managers, project owners--burning through whoever can't keep up with the unrealistic pace. GL loses talent and task expertise daily to direct AI competitors because of its inability to value people who only want to give their best. Meanwhile, its VPs go on meditation retreats, and refuse to take questions about compensation during Town Hall meetings, where they are rightly and roundly booed. My best day was when I handed in my resignation. Apply there only if you want a horror story to tell your friends.

Pros

Remote work environment, friendly employees

Cons

-Poor pay: The company hires many of their employees as third party contractors. Full time direct hires and contractors are not paid a fair wage in relation to the money the product of our labor generates for the company. Full time employees are paid around $8-10 more an hour than contractors and there is no transparency from management as to how a contractor can become a Full time employee. Raises are not compensated with more pay and many employees in lead or senior positions are paid as much as novice employees. Lack of transparency: Management does not clearly communicate with employees. Management has dodged crucial questions about job security, pay, and company operations. Draconian rules: The company recently instituted a policy that forbids on-corp employee social chat spaces and socialization. Additionally, the company has illegally silenced and fired union members.
