Pros

Great people, good company culture and values. Making a dent in the healthcare space is inspiring and exciting. Amazing engineers and technical teams. I'm constantly learning and challenged and feel like I've always got something interesting/worthwhile to work on.

Cons

It can be difficult to get things done due to conflicting priorities but that happens at most companies. Engineering/Product alignment could be better and engineering development practices/methodologies could be cleaned up. We should aim towards finding people that care about the work we do, and not just the flexible work policies. I do feel like we're hiring too fast sometimes.

Pros

When applying to GoodRx, I was eager to find a company that was thoughtfully working toward making healthcare more patient-centered - and I definitely landed at the right place. GoodRx employees are incredibly smart and dedicated to the mission of making healthcare more affordable and convenient. Everyone has a seat at the decision-making table (regardless of level), and is pushed to be the master of their own domain. The people I work with are some of my closest friends, and GoodRx does a lot to facilitate this close-knit environment (including weekly happy hours, great quarterly events, monthly game nights, and new hire lunches).

Cons

Career progression feels very possible, as GoodRx is great about promoting, but the steps required to progress aren't well defined. As we continue to grow, I think we'll need to formalize some processes a bit better (such as onboarding, project planning, team differentiation, and channels to receive support from other teams), but this seems standard in a start-up environment.

Traffic can be bad getting to/from the office on some days.
