Pros

Decent work-life balance. Great people work here (like everywhere else). Company is trying to change its culture Company is trying to focus more on process Company is tuning into the right ideas but doesn't have a clue how to implement them and doesn't use obvious resources for aligned tasks Casual atmosphere

Cons

Not current with technology; Compensation is low; Office is cheap - won't invest in basic software/office supplies; Leadership is not empowering or engaging employees - staying huddled in rooms spending more time strategizing on how they are going to change things without interfacing with those who will actuate change; Stale corporate culture; Project work is mediocre at its best No strategy behind teams -who works on what project; Leadership's lack of purpose/direction stifle creativity and workflow; If you are quiet about what you really think (or agree with certain egos about everything) you will go farther than a person who voices alternate views/ideas

Some Good, Some Not So Good

Pros

Usually easy-going culture. Nice people in general with the exception of some of the management. They get some interesting projects now and then although they seem more driven by the bottom line than actually doing quality work. That's been disappointing. Benefits and some of the social stuff is good. Multiple offices so there may be options for moving to other locations.

Cons

No strong marketing efforts, projects tend to be pretty small and leadership has a tendency to do a lot of backstabbing, which has been very surprising. They seem to get rid of the experienced people and focus a lot on hiring inexperienced, less expensive people. There have been lots of layoffs so it doesnt' seem like a very stable place. This might be different in the other locations. The management here in Tampa also doesn't set a very good example for work ethic. A lot of politics, lot of and not a lot of mentoring. Its' probably okay for a first job in your career but you wouldn't want to stay here long. Management doesn't seem very trustworthy.
