It was great working here the District Manager and Office Manager worked diligently to keep the office staff in a safe and fun environment and up to date with training.

Cons

Having to always open the door for everyone makes it difficult if you are the only one working the Front Desk. They also have secret shoppers that work for H&R Block that can call at any given time and make a false appointment just to see if you are doing your job correctly. This can be a hassle at times as the front desk can get very hectic with walk ins and other calls trying to make an appointment. After you have gone through the call with a secret shopper then at the end of the call the let you know who they are.

Pros: learn new skills, software, how to prepare taxes, meet interesting people, learn to work under pressure, free training on new tax laws

Cons

Having to deal with multiple personalities especially the senior members who feel that they are entitled to NOT have to follow the rules.
